A quick and easy meal that most will enjoy.
What you'll need:
1 large head cabbage, chopped however you please
1 can diced tomatoes with juice. If you have fresh tomatoes, dice 1 or 2 up and add a couple tablespoons of water
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
salt and black pepper to taste
1 pound lean ground beef
1 largish stock pot or dutch oven. Large enough to fit all the uncooked cabbage.
How To:
-Over medium heat add onion, beef and Italian seasoning to the pot and cook till beef is ALMOST done. Stir frequently.
-Add cabbage and diced tomatoes. Stir semi-frequently
-Heat until the ground beef is cooked through and the cabbage is to your desired texture.
-Add salt and pepper till you're happy.
